Meet Our Founder

Roxanne Steel (Rox)
(They/She)

Roxanne Steel founded Parallax Perspectives from a belief that inclusion, and success cannot be seen as separate or siloed.

Across their career, Rox repeatedly saw talented individuals, teams, and organisations feel stuck not because they lacked ability, vision, or potential, but because the environments around them were not designed to support people sustainably succeed.

Why did they see it so clear?

They have lived it and lived through organisations that weren’t confident to support them; however, lived experience is really only the scaffolding that strengthens this work.

With a background spanning consultancy, finance, advocacy, leadership, writing, and public speaking, Rox brings together strategic expertise and lived insight to support meaningful, lasting change.

Before founding Parallax Perspectives, they worked with organisations including the NHS, Transport for London (TfL), Greenpeace, Young Women’s Trust, and the United Nations, as part of previous roles and workplace experiences that helped shape their values-led, strategy-first approach to cultural transformation and inclusive leadership.

Parallax Perspectives was built not only as a consultancy but as a space for honest conversations, creative thinking, and sustainable growth.

Rox works across consultancy, facilitation, coaching, mentoring, public speaking, and strategic support for both organisations and individuals, particularly those navigating leadership, change, creativity, confidence, and imposter phenomenon within systems that were not built with everyone in mind.

At the heart of the work is a simple belief: people already hold value, expertise, and potential within themselves. It is also about enablement and perspective.

The role of Parallax Perspectives is to help create the conditions where that can be recognised, supported, and sustained.

Whether working with a global organisation, a future leader, or someone still finding confidence in their own voice,

Rox believes in meeting people where they are and building meaningful change from there.
While Rox leads the majority of commissioned work directly, collaboration remains central to the business.

Through a trusted network of specialists, creatives, facilitators, and access professionals, Parallax Perspectives can also bring together wider expertise where projects, organisations, or individuals would benefit from broader support.

For Rox, this isn’t just about sharing their voice and expertise for change, but supporting you to do the same.
